La Salle and its hamlets perched on the Hill

At La Salle, the hand of man has created a charming village nestled in the mountain landscape of Valle d’Aosta with a sublime view of Mont-Blanc, or the famous Grivola. You will not find a shopping center in this village, but will appreciate the tranquility of its cobbled streets through the typical stone dwellings of the valley.

A few kilometers higher, from the road which goes up from the town to the hill, we discover the hamlet “Chez les Monnet”. Vestige of a life of yesteryear suspended in time, it offers as a bonus a breathtaking view of Mont-Blanc.

Even further, Planaval is revealed, at the beginning of an alpine valley in which there is a charming hotel and a few “baïta”. A maze of paths will make you discover forests, mountain pastures, streams and waterfalls.

In winter, when snow covers the pastures and the landscape seems to stop in an infinite present, you will discover magical places. You can easily cross them by cross-country skiing or snowshoeing!
