Program

D0 Saint-Rémy-en-Bosse

Arrival at your b & b at your convenience, from 3 p.m., with use of the sauna and Finnish bath possible (by reservation). At 6 p.m., your guide or escort will be waiting for you in the magnificent room of your b & b, for a welcome drink and information for these 3 days of hiking. Don’t forget to prepare a separate bag for your belongings that will be transported to your next destination (Planaval).

D1 Saint-Rémy-en-Bosse (1450m) – Planaval (1800m)

You will leave your vehicle in a parking lot 5 ‘from your b & b, from which you will take a path that will start in a forest to an alp. From there, the path will rise gently in a magnificent valley, up to the Window of Sereina, located at 2550m. From the pass, you will gradually discover the Planaval valley, green and limestone, with its mountain pastures and pastures. The valley ends in a wide plain, at the bottom of which you will finally reach your charming hotel, a former smugglers’ baita, by the river. Elevation gain + 900m

D2 Planaval – Courmayeur

Depart slightly downhill along the river, the trail will then take you up the hillside to discover a first valley, Chambave, then a second Licony, the name of its river and its pasture. From this point will begin your ascent to reach the magnificent Lake Licony, located at 2355 m. One hundred meters higher, the Col of the same name awaits you, and you can enjoy a unique view of the Great Mountains of the valley, including the Grandes Jorasses, the Dent du Géant and Mont-Blanc. A quick and steep descent will take you into the Val Sapin and Courmayeur, with the option of a taxi for the last part. + 1150m

D3 Courmayeur – Vallée Blanche crossing – return

The brand new panoramic and revolving Skyway cable car will take you to the gates of Mont-Blanc, at 3466m. From this point will begin your magnificent glacial crossing, accompanied by your mountain guide (1 guide for max 4 people). In a glacial and granite atmosphere, you will walk through an impressive universe, at the foot of the largest and most beautiful mountains in Europe. If the conditions allow it (as well as your shape and your desires), the crossing will be carried out to the Aiguille du Midi (French ski lifts), with a last piece of tapered snowy ridge. The return will be in the cabin, thanks to the connection, to Helbronner, then Courmayeur. Approx. + 500m in altitude!

Note that the program can be modified at any time, according to your guide’s decision, depending on the weather conditions and the course, as well as the level of the group!

Your b & b at Saint-Rem y-en-Bosse (J1)

Isolated, charming, silent, at the foot of the mountains, on the edge of the forest, in nature…! Here are a few words to define the atmosphere of the places of this superb b & b. A typical old building in the Aosta Valley, it was completely renovated in 2018 with noble materials such as wood and stone. You will appreciate its cozy and comfortable premises, its tranquility, and the kindness of your hosts Sara and Marco. Its huge garden will allow you to bask during the long summer days, while its sauna and Finnish bath (in good season) will warm you up on cooler days (to book – not included).

Your hotel ch armed at Planaval (D2)

Everything at the Jolie Bergère is reminiscent of Heidi’s mountain. Located at an altitude of 1700 m, the structure is reminiscent of a typical mountain refuge. Once you have crossed the door, you will discover a lovely and comfortable locanda. Its bar and its excellent typical restaurant will overcome your good diet resolutions. The rooms are all spacious and decorated with you, with bathroom or shower room.

Your 4 * hotel & Spa in Courmayeur (D3)

Warm atmosphere reminiscent of a “Swiss chalet” for this charming and friendly 4 * hotel. It enjoys a convenient location, just 200m from the center of Courmayeur. You will appreciate more than anything its magnificent terrace and garden. You can relax your muscles in its wellness area, and will undoubtedly enjoy a welcome aperitif in their very nice bar or terrace.
