“Epicurean stroll” program

D1

• You will be greeted by your host with a welcome aperitif, local products & appetizers. Relax if you wish in the spa, before visiting a wine producer from the neighboring village. The evening is planned at the hotel, with a 3-course dinner of Italian cuisine.

D2

• After a hearty breakfast of fresh products, your guide will come to your hotel for a departure on foot on a panoramic path on the hillside, while telling you about the history of the valley and its peculiarities. Aperitif taken from your guide’s bag while waiting for the taxi that will take you from a nearby wild valley to Aosta. A tasting-meal with a wide choice of local products and wines awaits you in a local grocery store-cheese library in the old town. Return by taxi to your hotel & relax until the aperitif & enchanting dinner in a neighboring village, we won’t tell you more.

D3

• After your breakfast, the taxi will take you to the start of the alpine hiking trail (approx. 10 ‘by car), for a short stroll, with your guide, to whet your appetite. Visit and tasting, at the mountain pasture or in a cooperative, depending on the season. Lunch, made from 100% local products, in a restaurant at the foot of the mountain pasture, will consist of at least 5 dishes. The taxi will take you back to the hotel, where you can collect your belongings and vehicles.

The room

At La Salle, the hand of man has created a charming village nestled in the mountain landscape of Val d’Aosta with a sublime view of Mont-Blanc, or the famous Grivola. You will not find a shopping center in this village, but will appreciate the tranquility of its cobbled streets through the typical stone dwellings of the valley.

You are halfway between Courmayeur and Aosta (approx. 20 ‘drive), at the foot of a number of hiking trails, and very close to the alpine meadows and mountains of the valley.
